BASKETBALL HALL OF FAME
 
The Basketball Hall
of Fame collects, preserves, displays and makes accessible
materials that document the history of basketball from its founding in
1891 to the present. The Hall of Fame documents basketball on the high
school, college, professional and international levels, both men and
women. There are 241 Hall of Famers and four teams enshrined into
the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Visitors can learn about
the game's original rules, the first paid professional, barnstorming
teams, the size of Bob Lanier's sneakers, Bob Kurland's college career,
John Havlicek's career scoring average and the dimension of a regulation
basketball court...and much much more
